Is there anyone out there willing to do a photoessay on how to make a stud gear, or other replacement gear for your lathe using a manual milling machine?

I used sherline lathe and mill to make wheels, pinions and repivoting of clocks. I have asked around, there are mixed opinions. Some said watchmaker lathes are easier to make watches, some said sherline lathe is not as effective as watchmaker lathes, some said sherline is more accurate.
